Daniel Meer, Assistant Director, Superfund Division, Emergency Response, Preparedness and Prevention Branch,
US EPA Region 9
Daniel Meer is an Assistant Director in the Superfund Division, Pacific Southwest Regional Office of the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Mr. Meer is responsible for the Emergency Response, Preparedness and Prevention programs in Superfund. He has held previous supervisory positions implementing the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act regulatory and enforcement programs.
Prior to coming to USEPA, Mr. Meer worked as a consulting petroleum geologist. He graduated from Binghamton University, State University of New York in 1978. He joined USEPA in1989.
