NASA Research Park Partnerships
In 2002 NASA Ames Research Center began creating strategic partnerships with academic, non-profit and industry partners dedicated to advancing the goals of the NASA Research Park (NRP).
University and college partnerships bring commitment and enthusiasm to NRP’s goal of advancing research in science and technology. The academic partnerships offer formal education for students, and professional development and training for the region’s work force.
NRP’s non-profit partners promote technological literacy; showcase American achievements in aeronautics, space and information technology; and stimulate education and learning in science, technology and mathematics.
NRP’s industry partners position themselves for extraordinary opportunities to engage in mutually beneficial cutting-edge research with NASA scientists and engineers. These small, high-tech businesses, now leasing at NRP, conduct research in biotechnology, environmental technology, nanotechnology, communication and homeland security.
